Spain's Juan Mata debut with a beautiful ending

Spain star Juan Mata has expressed his delight at making his World Cup debut in the 2-0 Group H victory over Honduras.

The Valencia forward was introduced midway through the second half as Spain cruised to a comfortable win and afterwards declared that the European champions will get better as the tournament progresses.

"It's a dream to be here, I made my World Cup debut with a win and now we must think of Chile and try to qualify. The only negative was we were unable to score more goals, but the important thing was to win and we did," he told Super Deporte.

"As the competition progresses the team will get better. Today we are pleased with the three points, which are very important and now we have to think about the next opponent."
