Season 2010–11

The Eredivisie 2010–11 will be the fifty-fifth season of Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. FC Twente are the reigning champions, having won their first Dutch championship last season. A total of 18 teams is taking part in the league, and will also feature 2009–10 Eerste Divisie champions De Graafschap (in place of last-placed RKC Waalwijk), and SBV Excelsior, who were promoted through the subsequent playoff tournament, in place of crosstown rivals Sparta Rotterdam.
